The four of us enjoyed our stay
with you all this past weekend. Our only regret, of course,
is that we couldn't stay the whole week! Austin enjoyed meeting Chauncy
and both the kids enjoyed the quiet of the common room and a few games
of chess! We'll be back in the summer or next winter. We'll reserve
early!

wonderful -- and your hospitality made the weekend what it was. You
always had a ready suggestion for an activity or restaurant. Always
a warm fire to come back to. Game to play. Puzzle to solve (or not
solve as it turned out). And soothing music to keep us company. Looking

very high score considering I already have a long history with Vermont.
You are very special and made the wedding weekend very special for

at The Waitsfield Inn last week. Everything
was great...the room, the food, the decor and especially the personal
hospitality of the innkeepers! In fact, I found it a little
bit difficult leaving after having stayed only one night. Hope

When you retire to your room at the end of the day
you'll be surrounded by the warmth of true Vermont country living.
Each of our 14 rooms are individually and uniquely
decorated with antique beds, beautifully dressed with your comfort in mind and adorned with beautiful
country quilts & light-as-a-feather comforters. Some rooms are
hand stenciled; others have exposed beams as well as large rooms with lofts, all from which you may choose

The largest guest room located in the front of
the house with a Four-Poster Queen size bed and two twin antique
beds. This room will comfortably accommodate up to five
people. It's six windows offer lots of bright natural sunlight,
great for reading or just relaxing. Area rugs beautifully
dress the hardwood floors. For your privacy and comfort
this room has a private bathroom and air conditioning in the summer.

The Roderick room is our most romantic room in the Inn with an antique Queen size bed and dresser. This
room is beautifully decorated in warm lavenders and soft pinks, great for a romantic getaway with your special someone.

The Foster room is a stately guest room that has a regal antique hand carved Queen bed and dresser. These antiques are the center points for this charming room. Historical warm colors have been used to lull you into a wonderful nights sleep. This room has a private bath and air conditioning in the summer.

The Ira room is beautifully decorated & hand stenciled by a local Vermont artist. Faux painting of a fireplace complete with mantel and clock adorn one wall. This room has a antique queen size bed with an down comforter to keep you warm on winter nights. For your comfort this room has a private bath and air conditioner to keep you cool during summer months.

This pretty Victorian Room is decorated in soft pastels and is accented with two antique brass beds and beautiful antique dresser. With a full bed and one twin, this room is just perfect for two or three people. This room has a private bath and air conditioning in the summer to keep you cool at night and cozy comforters to keep you warm in the winter.

The Meriden Room is warm & cheery, just perfect for a good nights sleep. Beautifully hand stenciled with yellow and pink flowers and soft yellow walls. It is one of our cute and cozy rooms perfect for one or two people, with a full size bed and private bath.

The Clayton room is a nice large room decorated with Warren Kimball artwork and painted warm teal and soothing cream. The room has a high
ceilings with exposed beams, one full and one twin bed, private bath with tub and shower, air conditioning. A cot fits nicely into this room should you need to add an extra person.

The Allen Room is a nice large room with a full bed and one twin bed and lots of floor space. The room is decorated with local Vermont artwork and has a high ceiling with exposed beams. The Emeline room is beautifully decorated in yellow and soft pastel blue and has a real historical feel. The high vaulted wooden ceiling and the original beams are from the original barn dating back to the year 1839. The Milton room is a very popular room with a Queen size bed on the first floor, high vaulted wood ceiling, two twin beds in the loft with a skylight. The room has a private bathroom is the perfect room for familes or a group of friends.
